The last remnant of this little grass strip was this hangar, the windsock pole still apparent on one side. The field was the property of Myron C. Baker, operator of a local orchard, and a charter member of the Ohio Flying Farmers in 1946. Mr. Baker passed away in 1999, but for reasons unknown this field persisted on the FAA active airports lists until 2022, despite being overgrown for much of that time. So many stories this place could surely tell.
