Delivered to Pan American World Airways as N804PA in 1960. To United Air Lines as N8240U in 1968 then to United Air Leasing in 1975. Converted to a DC-8-33(F) freighter for Zantop International Airlines in 1977. Withdrawn from use at Macon, GA in 1985 and scrapped in 1986.
