Awesome photograph of a formation of Curtiss AT-9 Jeeps of the 49th Twin Engine Flight Training Squadron, based at Ellington Field on the coast of Texas, in 1942. 41-12150 was damaged in a taxiing accident on 17 December 1942, and written off. This is the very aircraft that is preserved in the National Museum of the USAF, with an irregular dash in the tail number as seen here.
