The Museo Nicolis is a rather nice museum of cars and other mechanical things. With a view of Verona - Villafranca (LIPX / VRN), three aircraft sit high on the roof, which cannot normally be visited, but staff were friendly and accommodating. Scramble notes that the weathered Starfighter wears "MM6827", but I think it only wears a blue version of MM6827's 'Icarus' paint scheme for the 50th anniversary of RSV. MM6827 is preserved at Pratica di Mare. This photo is copyright © Peter de Jong, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
