Dispatched to Pakistan for earthquake disaster relief. The KA-32 was contracted by the Canadian government to help the Canadian Forces (CF) Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) in the delivery of desperately needed humanitarian aid and medical care. It is seen at a makeshift landing zone in the high mountain village of Batangi, Pakistan. The Russian-built Kamov is capable of lifting more than 4000kg of equipment, personnel and stretchers.
