Aircraft usually turn left when entering runway 23 but this pilot decided to backtrack for a full length departure which requires a right turn and then a 180 degree turn but he misjudged it and went off the taxiway resulting in the right undercarriage wheel sinking into the earth. It was stuck here for 2 1/2 hours causing aircraft to divert to other airports. This photo is copyright © F Seggie, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
