A sharp shot - US Navy serial BuNo 122461 is readable on the forward fuselage. Assigned Coast Guard serial 461 is not (yet) worn. Originally ordered by the USAAF as an XR-13 (YH-13), 46-254. The USCG received two HTL-1s, 122460 and 122461, in 1947 which were based at Floyd Bennett Field. One crashed in December 1952 and the second was disposed of in January 1955.
