Production of the Stampe SV.4 first resumed in France after WWII. SNCAN airframe No 1 must surely be the oldest Stampe around, not just the oldest flying one since the only prewar Stampe SV.4 to survive WWII, OO-ATO, was destroyed crashing into an apple tree near Virton on 5 June 1960.
