This aircraft is ex USAAF 43-15293, and flew for Guyana Airways in the 1960s as VP-GAF, later 8R-GAF until sold as 9Y-TDY in the early 1970s, then flying for Beach Airways. Withdrawn from use by the 1980s and stored at Georgetown. By 2002 it was in poor and dirty condition, still in faded Beach Airways colours, with its tail wheel placed on a block of concrete to level the plane. In 2009 it was cleaned and partially restored and repainted, again in basic Beach Airways colours, now minus titles and registration.
