19-3284 was originally VH-XSJ which suffered an accident the day after it joined the register on November 25, 1991. The aircraft was conducting its maiden flight at Lilydale Aerodrome. During a return circuit, the aircraft's engine failed on downwind. An attempted air start failed and in the subsequent forced landing the aircraft collided with a tree and ended in a drain.
