On 18th January 2007 the South of the UK was hit by severe storms. Winds gusting to 90mph ripped part of the roof off a hangar at Old Buckenham causing the hangar doors to implode. Several aircraft were damaged with at least two written off. This Mooney suffered damage to its right wing (not visible in this shot) and also to the elevator which can be seen to be deflected downwards much more than normal.
