The c/n of this aircraft is strictly notional as that particular airframe crashed and burned in 1970. Without even recovering the c/n plate from the wreck, the serial 315 was assigned to this - and who knows where it came from. An attempt was made to register it as C-GGXH which failed and then as above with the FAA - also failed. The solution was to transfer the identity from the wreck of c/n 508 in 2011 and register it as N1178R. Notice how they look identical..
