This was one of the static exhibits at the Day of Open Hangars at LKLN and is pictured about to be started up and taxied back to its hangar at the end of the day. This historic old airfield is in danger of being closed and the site redeveloped. The airfield organised this event for people to come out and show their support. The attendance far exceeded the organisers' expectations and I really hope they will be successful in their fight against closure. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
