Delivered new to the US Army in 1954 then civilianized in 1977. It spent time in the 1980s with the Haitian Air Corps as serial 1268, then was imported into Canada in 1987 as C-FBDR. Registered as above in 1995 and here just completed an overhaul and re-paint by the look of it. Other photos show it in Alaska on normal silver floats so the amphibs with mismatched paint must have been loaners for ferrying the aircraft.
