On static display at the 1989 Alconbury Air Tattoo, in Soviet colours as "White 53". Operated by The Fighter Collection, Duxford. Originally built for the USAAF as 44-4393. Used for air racing in the USA postwar, latterly in overall red colours. Brought to the UK in 1988. Lost in a sadly fatal crash in 1990 after leaving La Ferte-Alais in France to return to Duxford.
