The two Vertol 42Bs F-BFDB and F-BFAX (c/n 330/FR32) were VIP helicopters 'refused by Washington' according to a French source. At the 1957 Salon they provided an air link between Issy heliport and Le Bourget, operated by the Helicop-Air company. They were then transferred to the French army as regular H-21Cs and both served in Algeria by 1958. This photo was added on 10 December 2022, and has since been viewed 497 times. |
