VH-BAB had served with the RAF (as KG818) and the Department of Civil Aviation (as VH-DMV and VH-CAO) before it was bought by Brain and Brown as VH-BAB in 1962. It was withdrawn from use in 1979 and preserved. It has worn fake USAAF colours since the 1980s and most recently displayed at Caboolture, Queensland.
