This 1962 Cessna 185A was imported to Canada in August 1979 and has been owned by Rolland Lebel ever since. The Cascades Water Aerodrome (CTY3) is located 3.1 km; north of the village of Cascades on the Gatineau River, Quebec, and 22 km NW of Rockcliffe Airport, ON. The floatplane base has space for about a dozen aircraft and is located next to a well-travelled railway trail used by cyclists. October is the best time to see the leaves change colours in the Gatineau Hills north of Ottawa. This photo is copyright © Kenneth I.
