Delivered pre-war to the CAA. Served with the USAAC as a C-52D before being returned to the CAA in 1945. Operated throughout Alaska on transport and calibration work until 1951. Later became N560R. "King Chris" was named after Chris Lample, the CAA administrator of Alaska airports.
