This was an absolutely minimalist training glider developed in the UK shortly after World War II. It consisted of a high, strut-braced wing connected to a conventional tail by an open-truss framework, and was a copy of the German SG 38 Schulgleiter. Seen in the Shuttleworth Collection, this example remains airworthy This photo is copyright © Mick Bajcar, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
