Undated 4x6,5 slide from FNG Archive. Looking westward a Pan American DC-6B, a Beech 65 and a Dove are visible plus an assortment of British, French and American types in the General Aviation area. The aircraft on the near end of the apron is the former Pan Am DC-7CF N745PA which was written off earlier that year. Work is in progress extending the runway from the initial 1900m to 2300m.
