A new light sport aircraft (LSA) variant of the Luscombe 8E Silvaire has been built in the United States. This is the prototype of an European ultralight (UL) version, powered by a supercharged 150-hp D-Motor engine. It is very faithful to the original Silvaire which is cool! Assembly is here in Oerlinghausen from US-made structural parts. The 8G designation is provisional.
