On October 14, 2017 the aircraft was substantially damaged in a landing accident on a narrow asphalt road near Kibbutz Sa'ad. The pilot aimed to land at the beginning of the runway, but touched down some 21 metersbefore the curve of the road. It impacted a 50-60cm high dirt mound and bounched high up. When it touched down again, part of the gear collapsed and the aircraft come to a stop in a field. The tail section was severed in the event.
