Once assigned to the 162nd Tactical Fighter Squadron. The squadron converted from F-100D to A-7D from January 1978. In May 1993, the 162nd hosted a farewell to the A-7D Corsair II and transitioned to F-16C/D. This A-7D, clearly repainted (click the yellow "Registration / Serial" button above to see an ops photo of this aircraft) is now preserved at its homebase.
