Built mid-1971 and delivered to the Royal Air Force later that year, this aircraft has seen service in Germany, Belize, Northern Ireland and the Balkan States. Sometime between 2009 and 2012 the aircraft was upgraded to HC2 spec. It is currently serving with 33 Sqn. at RAF Brize Norton and took part in the trials concerning fitting the airframe in the C117. Presumably on some sort of navigation exercise, she called into Staverton for refuelling. This photo is copyright © Ray Jennings, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
