Only 60 Saltos were built in the early-to-mid 1970s. This one was registered new in Australia on 18 January 1973. It also shows the convention in Australia of only displaying the last two letters of the registration provided the sailplane is registered in the 'glider block' (VH-G__) and isn't used overseas.
