G.D.G. Aviation Inc. is a Quebec firm specializing in the control of biting insects using Bacillus thuringiensis serotype israelensis (BTI) which is a naturally occurring larvicide which is toxic to mosquitos and black fly larvae. G.D.G. uses ground crews, fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters to drop BTI in wetlands. In April 2016, GDG had two Bells and two Cessna 188s based at Mascouche Airport (CSK3) working north of Montreal. More than 100 aircraft were evicted when CSK3 airport permanently closed on Nov. 15, 2016. Bell 206B C-GIVV was imported to Canada in 1986 and is ex-N2757C.
