Hawker Hurricane Mk.XIIb CCF-5711 has seen many colour schemes. This scheme applied as Z5140, HA-C no.126 Sqn. worn by Gloster-built Hurricane IIB during the siege of Malta. In September 2005 Hurricane Z5140 became the first Hurricane to return to the Mediterranean island of Malta since the Second World War along with Spitfire Vb BM597, operated by the same Warbird company at Duxford.
