NZ6465 on the foreshore of Rangaunu Harbour after being recovered from the Awanui Estuary where it had crashed on October 13. The pilot and his passenger ejected safely, the latter becoming the first non-aircrew to eject from an RNZAF aircraft. The damaged aircraft was passed to the RNZAF museum.
