This aircraft was produced as a standard Airvan and was registered on 4 December 2002 (although it's got a 2003 cn!). It was later converted to become the prototype turbocharged Airvan, for which certification was achieved in February 2009. It previously appeared at the Australian International Airshow in 2007 in MAF colours - possibly for promotional purposes. It's seen here taxying in from a handling demo in 2009 in the very capable hands of Gippy's test pilot, Dave Wheatland.
