This Yak-40 was originally delivered to CSA as OK-EED in October 1974 and later, for a very short time, transferred over to VZLU, the Czechoslovak aviation research institute. In March 1990 it went to LRI but was later operated by Aviaexpress and Linair on behalf of LRI. Faded Linair titles still visible. It was almost bought by the Polish AF to be parted out for spares but, fortunately, this sale fell through and the plane is now on display at the super Aeropark. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
