This 1974 Pitts Special was originally registered N20MC and operated by Marion Cole, one of the famous Cole Brothers airshow act. Later owned by Richard Garrity, then Jane Roberts. In late 2008 it was imported into Australia by a syndicate that includes well-known aerobatic pilot and instructor David Pilkington, and registered VH-MCR on 26 November 2008.
