British Airways Engineering East Base, Technical Block J [TBJ] nearest with Technical Block K [TBK] furthest away. TBJ and TBK each have two bays capable of holding aircraft up to Boeing 747-400 size, although one bay in TBK was turned into a paint bay many years ago and then the paint bay was shut down, so currently only three bays are used for aircraft maintenance. These bays currently are used for Boeing 787-8/9/10, Boeing 777-200/300 but are also used on an ad-hoc basis for other wide-body types used by BA and other carriers.
