Ca.1//71: TOS USAF and assigned to the 354th Tactical Fighter Wing, 355th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Myrtle Beach AFB, SC. 9/72: Deployed to Thailand for combat in Vietnam (first A-7Ds in the Vietnam War). The unit was back in the USA by May 1974. 1977: 162nd Tactical Fighter Squadron (ANG), Springfield, OH. 7/91: AMARC, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. 1997: Scrapped.
