Formerly OY-DOD, a participant in the London-Melbourne race, this Dessouter was donated to Finland as an ambulance aircraft and it served from 1941 until 1944 in the air force as DS-1. After the war it was restored by Torsti Tallgren and Armas Jylhä. It was registered as OH-TJA on 17 November 1947. Unfortunately it already crashed a few weeks later on 4 December. This photo was added on 23 September 2021, and has since been viewed 308 times. |
