This a/c had a non fatal crash on 6 August 1968 while assigned to the Air Force Flight Test Center. During part of its service life the US Navy used it for high speed AIM-9 Sidewinder missile testing. The USAF Museum website listing of aircraft loaned for display shows 57-1314 as being currently (2021) on display at the Castle Air Museum in Merced, CA.
