Crashed at Mt William, Victoria, on August 1, 1980. The aircraft was on a night VMC flight from Essendon to Adelaide when the pilot, the only person onboard, diverted towards Horsham after being warned of poor weather at the destination. -DQV hit the mountain while flying 1000 feet below the minimum safe altitude.
