Originally built as a straight J.1 and registered in the UK as G-AGYJ. Exported to Australia in 1952 where it became VH-BGB. Re-registered to VH-KEV in 1954, and VH-WMM in 1957. Recently completely rebuilt following following a mammoth towing job across the Nullarbor Plain from St. Arnaud, Vic, to Western Australia. Cirrus Minor engine replaced with a Gipsy Major making it effectively a J.1N. FF after rebuild 14 December 2003 at Jandakot. It's thought the owner has an connection with Air New Zealand, hence the colours.
