Runway 32 at Mount Beauty's picturesque aerodrome, located at the very head of the Kiewa Valley and at the foot of Mount Bogong, Victoria's highest mountain. This view is back up the valley - behind the camera is a big hill! The strip was first used in 1976 and officially opened the following year. The Mount Beauty Gliding Club is based here with a winch-launched IS-28 and a newly-acquired, slef-launching ASK-21Mi.
