If you look closely you can see the strips added on the rudder trailing edge to cure rudder buzz at high Mach. Built to an RAF order as WK685 but diverted to the RAAF. Shipped directly to Korea aboard HMS Ocean & taken on RAAF charge 20 August 1952. Based at Kimpo with 77 Sqn. Shipped to Australia in December 1955 and served with 77, 78 & 22 Sqns. Rescued from the Point Cook Fire Training School & put on display at Moorabbin Air Museum. Acquired by Classic Jets Fighter Museum, Parafield, 1992 & restored.
