When LN-WIL was delivered to Widerøe's in 1995, it was named Florø after the city on the west coast of Norway where Widerøe's had an operating base. In 2000 the airline lost the PSO service to that city and closed the base. LN-WIL was renamed Narvik in a ceremony held in Narvik to commemorate 25 years of scheduled services to the STOLport. It was only appropriate that this particular aircraft operated the last flights in and out of Narvik-Framnes on 31 March 2017 with a crew who all were born in Narvik. Here seen at the final stop of WF855 in Bodø. This photo is copyright © Kjell O Granlund - Scanavphoto, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
