Gressholmen, a small island in the Oslofjord, was Norway's international airport until 1939. The sole example of the Ro V Rocco first flew on 27 May 1927. The covert military Severa company and Lufthansa flew it off it against the Dornier Do R Superwal and it served on the Travemünde - Copenhagen - Gothenburg - Oslo route in May and June 1928.
