This 1971 Navajo was built about 1/3 of the way through the production run. It was registered new in Australia as VH-SAO on 23 March 1971, but it's presently sitting derelict at Yarrawonga and slowly being cannibalised. In later life it was a parachuting jump ship, as can be seen from the hand-rail on the rear fuselage, and as such was probably flogged.
