Destroyed on December 21, 1992 in her second attempt to land at Faro under adverse weather conditions, which included heavy rain, low clouds and crosswind. The right gear broke, causing the tank on the same side to rupture with the consequent fire. Sadly, 56 of 340 occupants perished.
