Unsuccessful competitor to the OV-10 Bronco. The US Navy selected the OV-10 in August 1964 but allegedly the USAF and even the Marines favoured the Convair aircraft which first flew on 25 November 1964. Development stopped after the crash of the single prototype, however. Wingspan was even shorter than the Bronco's.
