The blue tail revealed the aircraft belongs to the 475th Airlift Wing. The Learjet was accepted by the USAF in April 1985 and served the 12th Air Force VIP flight at Langley with tailcode FF from December 1996 up to October 2004. In the last seven years of that assigment, the FF code was removed. It was transferred to the 375th in late 2004 and was retired on 24 January 2007 when it arrived at AMARG . At the storage location the Gates bird received inventory code CJ0017. This photo is copyright © Stephan de Bruijn, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
