A total of 100 Yak-23s were purchased by Poland making the Polish AF the second largest operator after the Soviet Union. The Flora turned out to be have a short operational life and it was quickly replaced by the MiG-15. This example served in the Officer Aviation School No. 5 in Radom and then as a ground instructional frame at the Higher Officers' Aviation School. It is now on display at the Muzeum Sil Powietrznych. This photo is copyright © Alastair T. Gardiner, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
