This Fighting Falcon was deployed to Kabul as part of the... take deep breath: First Netherlands/Belgium European Participating Air Forces (EPAF) Expedition Air Wing (EEAW) International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) Detachment Three (1 NLD/BEL EEAW F-16 Det ISAF-3). The aircraft is seen here during its start-up, with GBUs underneath the wing. The squadron markings on the tail of the aircraft were removed, while the Frisian fin tip reveals the aircraft belonged to Leeuwarden air base (322/323sq).
