The 172nd TRS operated the RB-57A from Selfridge AFB from 1958 until 1971 when it transitioned to the somewhat slower and more silent O-2A! This photo was taken in 1971, just before the aircraft arrived at MASDC for storage on 7 February 1971. There, it was scrapped in 1976.
