The 170th TFS had operated the F-4C throughout the 1970s and received the F-4D in 1981. This F-4C is seen here one year prior to the transition to F-4D. It shot down a MiG-17 over North Vietnam on 16 September 1966. Location unknown possibly Springfield. This photo was added on 1 November 2020, and has since been viewed 512 times. |
